Cutest Laugh Ever!!!!!

Evie is too funny! I go to change her diaper and shake the new diaper to get the flaps to come out and she thought it was hilarious! I've never seen her laugh so hard before. I don't know why she thought it was so funny, but we sure did enjoy her hysteria!

Domestic Diva and House siding remodel

I finally made curtains for our side door. It's been on my "To Do list" for oh about 2 years!!! I like how they turned out.

Also, we just had our siding replaced and love the new look. We still need to paint our gutters and doors, but otherwise this was the first home project that we paid someone to do!! It's much nicer paying someone to do the work.

Today I had to wash my ONE pair of jeans(that fit), so I decided to wear my black yoga pants but they were nowhere to be found. Then this crazy thought went through my mind to try on my pre-prego jeans. I quickly pushed that thought out of my mind because all that drawer of jeans have brought me is depression in the past four and a half months.

I continued to look high and low for my yoga pants and still no luck! So I went into my dreaded jean drawer. I haven't been able to fit into any of my non-pregnancy jeans yet and because I was desperate I started trying them on.

I tried on one pair and it was a little too tight. I tried on another and that one was too tight. I was about to give up and go back to looking for my yoga pants and then I saw one other pair of jeans that were calling out to me. I was feeling a little depressed, but thought what's one more pair, so I tried it on and they fit perfectly!!!!!! Hallelujah!!!! I could hear the angels sing!!! I'm not destined to where maternity jeans for the rest of my life! I think this is how I'm going to gauge my weight loss from now on. No more scales! Just go to the jeans drawer and start trying them on!

4 Month Check Up: She's a long one!

We just got back from Evie's 4 month Doctor's appt and she's doing great! Shots went better this time. She cried for maybe two minutes and then she realized life is good again. What a Sweetie Pie! She is super long! Maybe she truly has the tall Wharton gene that skipped Christian. Christian's dad and Grandpa were both over 6' 3" tall.

She's been going through a growth spurt the past three days and waking up several times a night to eat. I hope this is over soon. It's so hard to go back to sleepless nights. I know I'll survive....it's just a season, right?

Kids, kids and more kids!

Yesterday was a fun, but crazy day! I watched my wonderful nephews (Charlie 5, George 3, and Henry 7 months) with Evie for a couple of hours in the morning. My hats off to my sister Danielle. Eventhough she has great, well behaved children...they are boys with a lot of energy!

I understand why God starts us off with usually only one child and let's us adjust and then we can add another and then adjust and so on and so on. Imagine if we had litters like dogs?!
